What affiliate links are
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a product or service. When you click the link and later sign up or buy, the vendor pays us a small referral commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the vendor directly, and in many cases the vendor will honor a discount or extended trial when you arrive through an affiliate link.
How affiliate revenue supports this site
FrostyStack is an independent publication. We do not charge a subscription, run intrusive advertising, or sell your data. Affiliate commissions are how we pay for hosting, research time, tool subscriptions, and the writing and testing that goes into every review. If you find our recommendations useful, using our links is a direct way to support the site.
How we choose the tools we recommend
Every tool we cover is chosen because we believe it earns a place in a real business stack. Our editorial process is independent of the affiliate program behind any given product. Specifically:
We recommend tools we have used, tested, or evaluated against alternatives in the same category. A vendor cannot pay to be added to our site. Whether or not a tool offers an affiliate program does not determine whether it appears here, and it does not determine our opinion of the tool. When two tools compete, we pick the one we would actually use, not the one with the higher commission.
Where affiliate links appear
Affiliate links appear on our Tools pages, in our Growth Strategies content, in articles published on the blog, and in short-form video and social content that points back to those pages. Not every outbound link on FrostyStack is an affiliate link. Links to informational resources, documentation, official policy pages, and non-partner tools are included whenever they are the right reference, whether or not they pay a commission.
Referral cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the destination site typically sets a cookie so it can attribute your later signup or purchase back to FrostyStack. The length of this attribution window is set by the vendor and varies by program. These cookies live on the vendor's site, not ours.
